Human tower groups

The colles castelleres – groups where human tower builders meet – are an institution on the Costa Daurada and, in addition, have been declared a UNESCO Intangible World Heritage Site. The love for building human castles, one of the symbols of Catalan culture, is passed down from generation to generation, perpetuating the main groups in municipalities such as Valls, El Vendrell, Reus or Tarragona.
