6 "INSTAGRAMMABLE" SITES ON THE COSTA DAURADA

The Costa Daurada is a territory with incredible landscapes, full of contrasts and perfect beauty. Reddish rocks inside stand on tiptoe to see the sea or become the best vantage points to watch the sun rise or set. Meadows converted into colourful carpets, architectures that bear witness to the passage of ancient civilisations or that are the imprint of a unique and non-transferable style of these lands, modernism. Or natural spaces of great harmony that reconcile us with the Earth. Today we show you six 'instagrammable' places on the Costa Daurada, one per region, so that when you go there, you capture unique and non-transferable images.

1/ The Areny de Mont-roig, with its rocks modelled since the Triassic period, more than 250 million years ago, is a spectacular place, of unique, eternal beauty. And while you're there, you can climb up to the hermitage of Mare de Déu de la Roca.

2/ At the Tarraco Amphitheatre you can put yourself in the shoes of gladiators or sit in their stands and wait for a naval battle show to start or for the lions to let go. Above it, the omnipresent MareNostrum, a sea of civilizations.

3/ From the blue of the sea to the green landscape of the vineyards of Montferri to admire the sanctuary of the Virgin of Montserrat, one of the modernist jewels of the Costa Daurada which, from a bird's eye view, adopts the image of a ship that has set course for Montserrat, the sacred mountain.

4/ The Conca de Barberà is, without a doubt, one of the regions with the most varieties of colors on its skin, which mutates according to the time of year. La Guàrdia dels Prats stands out for the poppy carpets that dye its landscapes red.

5/ In El Vendrell, next to the seaside town of Sant Salvador, you will find Les Madrigueres, an area of high ecological, environmental and landscape interest, with its own ecosystem with a diversity of habitats. Its harmony will connect you to the planet, you'll see.

6/ Perched in the Serra del Montsant Natural Park, the Falconera Rock offers postcards of great natural beauty. From La Morera de Montsant, the highest village on the Costa Daurada, La Falconera takes on different colors as the sunsets progress.
